Alzheimer's disease, what if get it and alone? (not worried about proper spelling of the word right now) But like the other day a famous football coach passed away from the effects of Alzheimer's disease, and I guess he was first diagnosed with it back in 2014, so took 7 years for disease to progress enough to end his life. This this former coach was well off, and famous, and sorrounded by family all through the ordeal, so I imagine if they just died a few days ago... www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/30866875/nfl-coaching-legend-marty-schottenheimer-dies-77 (Narti S) His last name almost is pronounced like the disease he died from. Point is if died a few days ago, that means must of been totally out of it for at least the last 2 years or so, maybe longer, but he had family, friends, wealth, around him the whole time to help facilitate the decline. But what of those who have none of that, none of the above, not wealth, not family, nor friends, then what? First you'd lose job, and if lost job and poor, what income would you have or be able to generate? Then would probably end up homeless if couldn't pay rent, then what, now you're homeless and roaming the streets at say 55 with Alzheimer's disease, and would probably walk out into freeway and get hit, or robbed and who knows what. I'm sure this happens a lot but we never hear about it, for I'm sure many poor people get Alzheimer's disease, but without anyone to care for them, then what? And I think this reality could start happening to more and more people.. That's why better enjoy life now, cause there's no garruntee of any golden years, I know that sounds bleak, but it's true, there is no garunteed golden years, and if poor, they'll simply turn into troubled years. I mean if life already hard when young, how much harder if older, weaker, senile, and no one to look out for you?

If you love 'self', which really means you love 'life', you'll temper any bad habits you have that may effect your health
Loving self is basically loving 'life'.
It's easy for us to recognize abuse when it's occurring to another, like a animal, or another human, but we often fail to realize when we're abusing ourselves...you ask how?
1. Substance abuse as in alcohol, drugs, both legal and illegal, tobacco and so forth.
As we age, our bodies can't handle any of the above like it could when 19 or 23, I mean our bodies have a hard enough time just keeping immune system up and running once above the age of 50, let alone dealing with alcohol consumption or prescription drugs or tobacco and so forth, if you love 'life' you'll stop abusing your body.
2. Bad diet, as in greasy foods, sugary foods, soft drinks, potato chips, not so much the chips but all the additives, learn to make your own chips with air cooker...to much meat, not enough exercise and so forth.
So many of us abuse our bodies, our own bodies, and don't see nothing wrong with it, and I'm guilty of that also is why writing this I suppose. We don't like it when our pets eat bad food, or when others do, yet we often do...if love life, stop abusing self with bad unhealthy food, that applies to myself as well, although food really isn't my issue.
3. Bad work environment or job, this to can effect health, if job bad for your health, quit, it's that simple and find job you're better suited for.
None of this waking up at 4 am in the morning BS. Is why I'm still as healthy as I am cause I saw the writing on the way and saw that all these labor or blue collar jobs do is wear your body down and you never get a good return, cause not like the olden days when everyone had pensions, now days when done, you're just done, still as poor as was 20 years earlier only now less healthy, so I said 'enough' and no only work 3 days a week, long days sure, but 4 days off to recover, that will give me longevity. And by doing that, believe it or not I actually save more money than when use to work 5-6 days a week, cause the less one works, the less one spends on fuel, food, and just misc spending..
And I could go on and on, just saying, we need to stop the self abuse, if we love 'life', any life, including our own.

I've felt bad plenty of days when younger, when in my teens, 20's, 30's, 40's and so forth, I've had plenty of days where I felt bad all throughout life, but seems when you feel bad when over the age of 50, there's always that voice in mind that wonders if 'this is the big one' or final one or 'fatal one'.
The thing about feeling bad when younger, as in ones 20's, is you always had confidence you'd recover, cause of course younger, organs more fresh, kidney younger, liver younger, lungs younger, everything is younger and usually works better, but when older organs wear, especially if been drinking or smoking or using drugs or eating fatty foods or a variety of things that effect health.
I mean even when you do everything right, the body still wears out.
One thing for sure, I need to step up my exercise regiment again, for I notice when I'm cardio fit, my over all health is always better, seems my immune is strong when I'm cardio fit.
When cardio fit, I can even drink beer and it barely effects me at all....beer only seems to have a bad effect on me when I'm not in shape, a lot of things have a bad effect on 'us' when we're not in shape.
No telling what kind of viruses and 'bugs' and germs are floating around out there these days, sometimes I wonder if the 'gov'/'tech'/'firms' are all running experiments with us by placing stuff in the air.
Watch, now that Texas and Missippi Governors have relaxed covid rules, watch now how in the news you'll hear of new mysterious 'bug' breaking out and people falling ill.
Don't put nothing past big pharma, just seems health isn't good for their bottom line.

Seeing public officials wearing masks in the news media, it just looks so ignorant to me, doesn't inspire me to want to wear one or anything, cause to me it just looks ignorant and 'staged', and condescending if anything, like every one is dumb, and that by seeing public officials wear mask will some how make public care more about their own health..
Seems every thing in the media is just 'staged' now days, as if we're all to dumb to take care of our own health, or want to.

Dirt eating?? I don't know, for some reason I woke up this morning wondering why the body gives some the craving to eat dirt?, yes dirt. Yes dirt as in the stuff grass grows atop of... draxe.com/nutrition/eating-dirt/The linked article by Dr Axe goes into more detail about it. I've learned a lot about dirt eating within the last 15 or so minutes, also learned some pregnant women get the urge to eat dirt...also learned dirt has many minerals in it and maybe that's the bodies way of saying we need more vitamins. Me, myself, doubt I'd ever eat dirt, unless far away from man and pollution, for to me dirt is only as clean as what's been poured onto it or leaked onto it, and that could be gas, diesel, trash, animal waste and other stuff... I also learned some people have a disorder that makes them crave non edible stuff. I wonder if that's a 'sin', like some say being 'gay' is a sin.

I think 'fat' is what makes your face sag, if not fat, there's nothing to sag
I mean what else can I add to that?
Fat sags, the less fat on your face, the less there is to sag..

Was at travel center a few days ago, maybe yesterday it was, and saw this one 'black' cashier younger lady, but her arms were like swollen, as in 'fat' type of swollen.
What are these women eating?
I've seen this before where some women have very 'fat' arms, I mean does the fat go to their arms instead of to their butts, where fat normally accumilates?
Stats say that Black females are on average, the most fat people in America, why is that?
Black females had better start paying attention to their health, and no I don't mean media types, famous types, I mean every day, average normal, unknown neighborhood types who seem to fall into despair shortly after high school if have no future plans in life.

When people younger than you start passing away When people younger than you start passing away, as you age, it can make you think, especially if had close or even lose relations with such types. As we age, it's just usually assumed that those who pass away or get ill, will be older than yourself, but when you reach age 50 +, that's not always the case, many times, whether celebrities, random news stories, or even family members, or friends, co-workers, many times, it's those younger than you who either fall terminally ill or pass away for a variety of reasons. I have one distant associate who now needs a liver transplant cause they drank to hard during the covid lockdown, and I guess their not alone, for I heard many are needing liver transplants now do to hard drinking under the covid lock downs www.usnews.com/news/health-news/articles/2021-05-14/is-rise-in-liver-damage-tied-to-more-drinking-during-lockdowns There are more concise studies than the one linked, but still, you can see the connection. I guess many people just drank harder than usual under the lock down? I drank about the same, no more, no less, probably cause continued to work as if there was no covid. I still drink, but lessoning up, not just cause older, but cause there's really nothing to drink hard and party about anymore. When I drink, I pretty much always drink alone and get worked up into own internal artistic moods that effect no one but me, other than the art I may produce and then share when done. But even now, that may be to much, I mean if I'm seeing people who are younger than me, if I'm seeing their organs fail, what about my own health? I've been fortunate so far, but realize I can't keep pushing it. My body needs a break from alcohol, it really does, I can tell. And as of now I'm ready to give it that break, and hopefully more than just a few days. --------------------------------------- I drank last night when got off work, and just didn't feel right, all day long, not in the sense of illness, but more as in mood. Not happiness, not joy, just 'nothingness', bland. I think I need to chart a new health course for self, I mean I already eat as healthy as a average person can who's not a training athlete, but it's the alcohol I need to cut out, the beer, and that won't be easy, cause often I feel that's all I have to boost my mood. I think good health will boost my mood if I give good health a try.

Metabolism, I don't know if this is age related or not, but like some days I feel 'light', other days I feel 'heavy', gut feels heavy.
And I'll wake up feeling like I've ran a marathon.
Like right now, I feel heavy and sluggish, haven't drank in around 3.5 days, I should feel light and refreshed.
So about to go exercise before I get into anything else.
I mean if my body now requires me to exercise daily like an athlete in order to feel good and optimum, than I'm doomed.

I mean I just don't get it, I think I eat pretty light, for my height and age, and exercise more than most, yet just seem to be stuck at certain weight no matter what. And it's not healthy to starve self, so not trying to go down that route.
I rarely eat red meat, I no longer sit down and eat full course meals, so where's the weight coming from?
May be all the sugar intake from little stuff like chips, ect, cause now days food industry loves sneaking all kinds of chemically altered sugar in just about everything we eat and or drink

Man I tell you what, as you age, seems the minute you stop working out you lose your gains quickly compared to years before.
I mean I haven't really touched any weights for about 3 weeks, and I feel it.
All I do is mess around with some dumb bells, two 30lb weights.
I have been doing more cardio type stuff, just not weights.
The more fit I am all around, the easier everything else is in my life, from my job, to walking, to walking up stairs, the more fit my body is the more easier it is for me to get through the day and job.
But I still drink, that's my main and about only weakness is that I still drink.

About an hour ago I felt that moment had come, death through heart attack or something, although I don't think it's my heart, I think it's an internal infection.
I think if I had some penicillin that would take care of it, but that's easier said than done.
I'm a vet, so may go to V/A tomorrow, but I've never taken the time to register, so I can imagine if I'm not walking in there in the process of actually physically dying at the moment, they'll simply have me fill out hours of forms, and more forms, and then have to schedule an appointment for later.
I know how messy that VA stuff can be from hearing horror stories from others and the news.
I mean unless actually dying as you walk in, than you'll have to make an appointment, and that could take weeks or months.
So I bet many 'lie', and say, 'I can't breathe', or 'I'm having a heart attack', just to be looked at first and or immediately.
----------------------------------------------------------
It's times like this when having a spouse or lover helps, cause they'll make you go to any emergency room hosptital just to make sure you're safe first and foremost. But when single, and only have self to depend upon, than one tends to put it off.
Me, right now, I don't know what to do.
I don't want to go blow 2,500 dollars for something I didn't have to. I may just go to a walk in clinic tomorrow and take it from there.
I think I know what it is, an infection cause by inflammation that's in my cavity area or arm area, cause just had a physical weeks ago, was fine.
But what does that mean? It was a light, very basic work related physical, all they do is take your blood pressure, take a urine sample, make you stretch arms out, ect, and that's basically it.

Either way, keeping self awake now, cause afraid to go back to sleep, although if going to pass, that would be the best way to go.

Even though I've stopped drinking for now, I haven't had a in the park workout in a few weeks either.
Maybe cause it's been colder than usual, and cause been a bit under the weather.
If I can now motivate self to get up and out and go exercise in park, and not drink, than that would be really good, I think.
If do that than I can achieve fintness above and beyond what I have in a few years, but then I'm sure something else 'heavy' will occur to offset that.
Seems it's hard to just have a long stretch of just decent things happening, at least for me it is.
With me, a good thing occurs just to be offset by a bad thing occurring.
