Today's 50 is like yesterdays 38
Let's face it, aging isn't the same today, as it was, say, 50 years ago, cause back in the day, if reached the age of 50, you were pretty much worn out, body, mind and soul, especially if a male working in the blue collar industry, at this stage you're pretty much just sitting around and waiting to die, after years of eating steak and porch and cakes and all other bad unhealthy food.
But today, with better knowledge about diet, health, ect, 50 is like being 38, or even younger, if take care of self, and so you reach the age of 50, single, still have a sexual drive, so now what, what do you do, who do you date?
And or what if you haven't even had muffins yet?...that's makes it even more awkward, cause if you're the age of 50, yet never had muffins of your own, that means if you still want to get married and start a family, that means you have to marry or date a woman in her fertile years, which could be from 20-35, you'll be hard pressed to find any women over the age of 35 who wants to have a baby...good luck, so if 50, single, no muffins yet, yet one some of your own, that means you have to 'date' or marry a woman between the ages of 20-30, 20 years your junior at minimum, and how does that look?
I mean if super wealthy, no problem but if working class, hmm, maybe a problem.
Most women don't care how old you are as long as you have money...but nothing turns a younger woman off more than a older dude who's living check to check.
And it just depends on culture, color, demographics and more.

Why even get married then? Or does making love to the same person after 10 + years just get old and stale? Is it harder to make love to another when you've lived with them forever and know everything about them, see them in the morning, smell the bathroom when they leave, see all their good as well as bad moods, I mean all that must accumilate after a while. I notice older men, after divorce, have no shortage of younger women to chose from, lined up for them, but older women, when wealthy, after a divorce, seem more content to just be left alone, and maybe just flirt or ramance with other females their age, or maybe younger. Marriage, what is that anymore?, a future divorce?

What I find very unsafe about dating sites
Whether 50 + or younger, what I find so terribly dangerous about dating sites is that they want you to basically post a 'mug shot' of yourself for all the world to see, are you kidding me?
In this age where anyone can 'screen shot' your photo and use it however.
Yes pictures matter, but they should at least allow your main pic to be altered a bit, so that not just 'out there naked'.
I mean one dating site, which a quit, kept rejecting my 'main photo' cause had to much shadow or to much this, but I'm like why in the hell would I want to present clear facial picture to strangers who don't know me, could be KGB, Cartel, or your general identity theft type, why would I want to do that?
Could even be co-worker screen capturing your picture to make fun of you.
Dating sites just don't have enough privacy to me, is what has kept me from using them.

Also, I hate dating sites that boast of having millions of members, that probably means you'll never meet anyone on there then.
I'd rather join dating site with under 1000 members who are real, more like under 500, if that, than waste time on site with millions of members from across the globe, what a waste of time.

As I grow older I become less interested in women, or gender, as a qualifier as whom I should seek as companion.
Dating a woman who cannot give me a biological family of my own is no different than dating a cross dresser, as far as I'm concerned, in my older years.

Dating over the age of 50 can be tricky  Dating over the age of 50 can be tricky, and then add to that specifics of your life 1. Male or female 2. gay or straight 3. transgender 4. black or white 5. Over 50, male, never married, no muffins of own And I could go on and on and on, but when over the age of 50, one thing for sure is you're still alive, as such still in one way shape or form desire companionship. One piece of advice for women though, if you date a guy, a male, and they're over 50 or even in their 40's, if said male has never been married and doesn't have muffins of his own yet, they're garunteed to cheat on you, for I don't care how much you love them, they pretend to love you, a guy will never fully fill fulfilled unless the woman he's with is fertile and willing to have his 'muffin'. Also, as far as old fashion dating goes, what's that? Now days, seems even older people go to those 'Sarah just 20 miles away and waiting for you' type of hook up sites. It seems even many older women now, could care the less about long term relationship, and simply want you to bam and wham them in bed.

I think that older males fear dating women who look as old as they do, and even that depends on a few factors.
1. Older males with own raised adult muffins, who are accomplished, don't mind dating women who look 'aged' as they do.
2. It's usually older males who've yet to start their own family, that tend to be turned off by women who look as old as they do, or older.
Why is that?
It think because for men, males, who've yet to start a family of their own, dating women who are no longer fertile (even if don't plan on having muffins), makes them feel 'over the hill, dead and done with'. For fertility is the sign of life, not being fertile is the sign of death and or accomplishment.
Well if a guy hasn't accomplished seeding the earth yet, dating a woman who can never allow him to do that just makes said guy look mortality straight in the face...and that can be scary when older, as a male.
Women need to understand that about older men.
Another thing a man, older man, doesn't like if they've yet to have muffins of their own, is to always hear woman talk about her own grown muffins, which simply makes the male feel even more isolated and alone and or a failure, since they have no muffins of their own to talk or brag about.
Older wealthy men are able to date, marry, women way younger than them for the purpose of grape rearing, but if older, and barely scrapping by, no women will want to have your baby, or very few, at least in the West where money is elevated above all else.

What people don't realize about me is that I seek out others, not for their sexual orientation, but for them to inspire me.
Anyone can inspire me if they simply believe in my ability and like me as a person.
And that's why I'm so turned off by dating sites of all orientations, cause people are flopping around in photos like fish out of water, trying to look all sexy I guess.
I don't need anyone to look sexy, I just need another to look good, decent and fit, and have a dam personality, and some cultural depth.

For a while I thought I'd seek out a transgender person, but if our whole relationship is simply built on them being a transgender, how far would that go?
Rather I'd rather meet someone with shared interests, and then if find out later they're a transgender, than oh well, cause we've already established a relationship.

Here's the thing about me, which comes first, success or a successful relationship?
I only want to date, be in a relationship, cause I'm assuming it'll make me more successful in other things I'm persuing.
Or will it just distract me?
I mean which means more to me now, a successful relationship or being successful at life, as in creating on revenue generating business?
That's a question I ask myself all the time.
I know this though, if successful at business, the relationship will come.

I'm realizing in order to meet the right people, you have to get in the 'success stream' of life, not the backwater.
I notice I meet more wonderful, driven people, of all colors, and genders and orientations, when perusing a successful venture.
But if just sitting back and expecting to meet the love of my life on some date line, well, forget about it.
