The List Why some of us need the 'To do list' to get anything done. Much more to follow as time allows.

Why some of us need a 'To do List' to get anything done Me, for one, I've utilized a 'to do list' for over a decade, why?, probably do to my personality type. If I wake up in the morning without a 'to do list', I'll just sit there on edge of bed and zone out, I'll know there's 100 things to get done, but unless randomly pick one, I won't end up doing anything at all. And with me, yes, choices off the list have to be random, why?, again do to my personality traits. 1. I don't like feeling like I have to do anything, and so if items on list chosen randomly, that takes care of me feeling forced to do something. I usually roll dice next to each item on the list, and whichever item the dice rolls highest number on, is what I do. I'm just a 'list' type of personality, is why I tend to do best, looking back, in structured environments, be it the Navy, this or that, I do best in structured environments where order, schedule, doesn't allow my mind to drift, or it will. Also do to my short attention span, so I still go by that 'class dismissed' order of learning and doing thing, in other words remember in school, grade school, how you had 1st period, math, 2nd period, gym, 3rd period, science, and so forth, I still need that structure to get through the day. If I spend more than 1 hour on anything I just lose interest and start feeling like I'm wasting my time, and then that whole 'caged, stuck' feeling begins setting in, maybe that's a mental disorder, who knows, but it's just me, and probably many others as well. I need many things to be going on all at once. Some are just the opposite, in that they can, and prefer, to concentrate on one project from beginning till ending, even if it takes hours, days, weeks, months or even years, like how some Authors take up to 5 years to write a book, me on the other hand, if can't start and finish book in months, I lose interest. But I've learned to deal with that by putting past former journals and writings together, and walla, there's the book with a few touches here and there. Most people have books in them, have written many books over their lifetime, but their writings are just scattered all over the place...if they'd learn how to put their writings together, they'd have years and years of books, in their name, already written, not to mention all the writing people do on social media which doesn't pay you a dime for it. Anyways, I took time off from my to do list to write this post, now back to the list.

I absolutely got's to make a 'to do list', or I won't get anything done today, without a list, just not motivated to do anything.

I suddenly feel so lazy right now that not even sure a 'to do list', will motivate me to do anything.
I think I'm in the mood to have x2s, if I had an attractive partner to roll around with...no such luck.

If I'm ever going to get anything done today I'm going to have to create a 'to do list', or I'll just sit here thinking all day long, and dwelling on the past, dwelling on my thoughts. What a 'to do list' helps me do, or better yet......a 'to do list' is kind of like my primer, it gets me going, warms up my engine. Once I get the engine of the mind going, I'm usually OK, but 'the list' is what kick starts it.

First thing first, must create and work off of 'to do list', if hope to get anything done today and focus.

Time to create a new 'to do list' or work off the one from yesterday, which I never finished.

Working off of old to do lists feels like eating left overs, so I think I'll create a brand new 'to do list' for today.

Got to create and then get started on a to do list. A to do list is like a engine crank or starter for me. Once the engine is cranked, then it becomes easier to wake up and want to do more stuff. If I don't create a to do list, my mind will just drift all day.

When I start not wanting to do what's on the list in the order suppose to do it in (I simply roll dice next to items so the choosing of what I do next is always random) But when I stop wanting to do what dice roll says I should do next, that's when I know it's time to break away from the list and just do what I want, which means day's pretty much gone and last hour or so awake just want to do what I want to do and have fun.

I'm going to have to get a list of things to do going today if I hope to get anything done. I actually feel like taking a long ride in the country, well not long, but just a ride, in a brand new car, and just exploring either the countryside or even parts of the city I rarely visit. I guess I could rent a car and do the same, or maybe not, rentals, these days, are funny about credit and all. When I was in my early 20's I remember the days when just about anyone could rent a car, regardless of ones credit. Life was certainly way more simple when I was younger.

Being in a newer car just makes me want to explore more, but when driver a older vehicle that you depend on for everything, including getting you to work, I'm way more hesitant to just take it out for a joy ride on the weekends in fear that something may go wrong.
But renting a newer vehicle, cooler than my own, gives me confidence to explore far and away from where I live, joy riding basically, something I haven't done in years.

A part of me just actually does want to get a newer car, one more time, while it matters.
Ye, I know it's a big waste of money, but I'm not getting any younger and cannot enjoy a new car when I'm dead.
And like I said, having a newer car does instill a bit more confidence in a person, so that when you pull up somewhere people think your life is more together than it really is..lol.
But having a new car always seems fun until around the 3rd payment of 300 dollars, than after a while not so fun anymore.

I tell you what, there's a lot of people driving around right now in newer or new cars feeling cool to self, but who are near broke, and probably cannot pay rent. i may not have a newer car, but at least I'm not broke. I'd might get a new car, but first would need to create a second stream of income, but on current income, that would be stretching it.

If I don't create a 'to do list' today, I won't get nothing meaningful done at all.
