Paranormal Activity, the ghost dimension
1. The women in this movie definitely weren't cast for their acting abilities, but rather for their looks, and I guess you could say the same for the male actors.
2. In this movie, it seems the humans are the props, and the ghost or demon, or demons, are the ones that carry the movie, with all of the repetitive 'jump scenes'.
3. In my opinion, way too much emphasis on the little girl, those scenes to became quite repetitive and pointless.
Still not done watching, but the pattern has been established.
a. Average to less below average actors
b. Use 'jump scare scenes' to keep the suspense going, and to annoyingly wake you up if you happen to be trying to doze off or fall asleep during the move.
What could have made it better?
If the characters didn't act so stiff and plastic, and had had more real-life human reactions, rather than movie scripted ones.
Most people, if experience what they did in this movie, scene after scene, wouldn't just blow it off, and an hour later act as if all is fine. It's as if they kept forgetting they were living in a haunted house.

Bad Ben 6, the way in
For some reason, The Mr Magoo like character in these movies is addictive to watch.
To watch them battle ghosts and spirits, while being serious, is of itself kind of comical...yet scenes in these movies will scare you at times, for sure.

Bornless ones
Watching this on Amazon Prime.
Haven't watched enough of it to give evalution yet.
One thing that gets me though, about these 'young people go to the cabin' scary movies.
It amazes me how these average dudes, guys, always end up with Miss America looking dates that accompany them on these trips to the cabins in the woods.
I mean is that really realistic?
Do hot chicks really hang out with dudes who go camping in the woods? I seriously doubt it.
Anyways, I'll review, once I get done watch whole movie.

The Funhouse 1981
Although older, this movie here's not all that bad.
It borderlines between a 'B' movie and a 'OK' type of Friday the 13th genre movie.
I was watching it on Amazon, and well, watched more of it than I thought, cause it just pulled me in.
If you like or miss that old time 1980's scare, this movie might be worth checking out.

West of hell..hmm
Movies was released about 5 years ago...I'm watching it now on Amazon, about half way into it.
The verdict is still out.
Starts of with a strong premous, but it just doesn't hit hard enough. And I think that's on purpose.
Again, the template to this movie has, or had way more potential, but it's like the writers watered it down, considering the themes it was dealing with, and again, maybe they watered it down on purpose as to not offend people.
It's a watchable movie, but just kind of goes off into la la land and the interaction of the characters feels a bit or a lot unrealistic.

Dinosaurs don't roar, OK
1. Dinosaurs don't scream....people scream and posture, not lizards.
Stop making dinosaurs behave and act like humans.
2. What lame scientist sends his loved ones or colleagues to an Island literally on the brink of volcanic annihilation, and then when there, they all act shocked and surprised at natures unfolding events.
3. Why do mega ton weighing dinosaurs even care about eating a human? When there's other prey around much juicier and filled with more calories.
Like in beginning when that gigantic sea creature spent all that energy just for what, a metal ladder and some human? Nature doesn't have that kind of energy to waste on such a small meal. Again, stop making dinosaurs act and behave like humans, as if they have a grudge.
Reptiles don't hold grudges, either they're hungry or they're not.
And I'll stop there for now.

The Innkeepers 2012
I love the main actress in this movie, and is pretty much the only reason I keep watching it on Amazon.
I think I'll just buy it though, so can watch commercial free.
Commercials and horror or scary movies just don't go together well.
