In scary movies, or even action ones, I just don't get peoples need to always say 'Hello!', when stepping into an abandoned house.
Why would you bring attention to yourself like that?
That goes against every survival instinct in the real streets.

I enjoyed 'Afflicted' so much that feel like watching it again
A new twist on a old idea, is what I like about this classic horror/scary movie.

I need a scary movie to just jolt me 'awake', but problem is, movies just don't scare me anymore, they all pretty much suck now, and are produced and directed by people who come from safe environments, therefore they don't know what scary is.

I think I could make a scarier movie than most that are released now days, with just a old small Sony camcorder.

The house on pine street trailer
Watching this one now, and I must say it does feel kind of scary.
I've noticed scary movies that use 'sound' as background moise, instead of generic music, do tend to be creepier, and this movie does feel a bit creepy, and that's what you want in a scary movie.

Digging to death
This is a odd one. At times you don't know whether to laugh or be scared or spooked.
It's like a 'B' horror movie that kind of works on many levels, depending on what your going through in your own life. This movie is layered with many different metaphors.
Again, it's just a odd movie, at least for me. It's like you know it's no good, yet keep watching anyways.

Saw 3
OK, I was way behind the curb on this one, I just figured it would be yet, just, another blood thirsty mindless hackem up type of gore movie, well, I was wrong. I mean sure there's blood and gore, but the writing and the story behind the blood and gore is pretty compelling.
Give this one a try, if haven't already watched it.

Walk Away
This is one odd scary/horror/slasher movie.
One day, if enough people watch it, it should become a cult classic.

Grave Encounters
I'm watching this on Amazon right now, and or that sub channel 'freevee' or something, meaning it has commercials. That aside, movie is OK. I watched to fall asleep to, but so far I'm still awake and watching. Final review to come later cause still watching, things are getting a bit interesting now.
You'll find yourself hitting the fast-forward button a few times in the beginning.

Unknown Visitor
This one here will give you some scares. But the best thing about it is that it doesn't just drag on and on and on.
I've been saying this for years, the best horror movies are short ones.
The mistake many directors make or producers, writers, ect, is when they add useless dialogue to horror movies, or any movie as far as that goes, but particularly with horror movies.
I think this one here is under an hour, therefore every scene really does matter.

Don't blink
This one is good, but mainly cause the actors cast to play the roles are convincing. This is one of those movies that could go either way, it could be really good or really bad, and what determines that is the performance of those in it.
It's a scary/horror movie with a Rod Sterling Twilight Zone twist. It's a scary/horror movie for the thinking, those who like a little 'thought puzzle' behind their movie viewing.
And it's a shame that movies like this tend to get lost in the bombardment of constant movie releases from 100's of studios and dozens of streaming channels, I mean who can keep up? I think had this movie been released prior to 2016, it would of done a lot better at the box office.
Now, I'm not even sure how acting pays, since the era of superstars is basically over, at least as far as acting goes, cause the industry is just to saturated now.
Now it's like you see an actor once in a movie, and never ever see them again, you can't build a following like that.
Anyways, if you like a scary movie that challenges you to think, and has decent acting, by today's standards, than you might wanna check this one out.

Quaratine 19
Wow, this one here, it will mess with your head towards the end. I watched it over two nights. It's different, but if you stay with it, it gets very interesting. And you'll end up liking some of the characters you first might not have.
It's horror/suspense/mystery/thriller and more. Each character, for the most part, plays their role pretty good. A lot of time and thought was put into this movie, which is more than I can say for most modern horror movies these days.
It's worth a watch if you want something different.

Bone Cold
I finally found a decent off beat type of horror/suspense/sci-fi movie worth watching. This movie combines a lot of different elements, but it works.
I don't want to say to much or I'll give it away.. I will say though, that if like suspense, mixed in with horror, mixed in with some paramilitary type stuff, you'll like this movie. It's a very believable movie with good acting to boot.

Hmm, verdicts still out on this one 'Jeepers Creepers Reborn'
I don't know...watching this on Hulu at the moment...I just don't know.
Feels so Mid 90's type of horror.
