Ghost Notes
Just heard of this movie today, and almost half way into it, it's pretty good, even by yesterdays standards.
And it deals with a 'fresh' them, and the acting is pretty decent.
If you don't believe the actors, than all else is lost.
I'm going to finish watching this as I shut down for the day.

The Crazies
Decent older zombie movie that barely gets mentioned anymore, but you'll enjoy for sure, just grab some popcorn and close the blinds and relax on a cold wintery night.

Exists
(hopefully shows up, if not will find trailer for movies instead)
Will have to settle for the trailer, don't get this 'age restricted' stuff when it comes to movies, which are less violent than video games..oh well.
This is probably the only movie ever made about 'big foot' that has ever actually raised the 'scary needle' inside of me.
Most movies about 'big foot' are Disney orientated and just flat out goofy, not this, this one feels more like a Friday the 13th type of movie, and definately worth a watch if into Big foot paranormal type stuff.
Although if big foot does exists, not really sure they'd be considered paranormal.

Texas Chainsaw
At first I had my reservations about this continuation from the original Chainsaw Massacure movie, but after watching how it ended, my mind changed.
Yes, it's a 'slasher' type movie, but the ending will make you think long and hard about family ties and bonds, and how some families truly honor that while other families if you sneeze the wrong way will walk away from you.
This is the type of movie, that if you have a good imagination, you can take it many places in your own mind, even after movie ends.
And oddly enough, this movie came out in 2012, but only found it today.
Now that TV no longer the main method of information, hundreds of decent movies get released that most never hear about anymore, other than maybe on YT or Netflix or Amazon, when they may decide to resurface it years later.
All that aside, the ending of this slasher movie kind of touched me a bit, is why putting aside other criticisms I had about the movie.

Also, I think a lot of PC's doing away with DVD players cause think about it, many movies that get streamed, are older movies that in the past could, would, buy on DVD and watch it whenever, I mean for instance, Amazon has 'Boys N the Hood' on their line up this month, and that movie is over 30 years old or so?
Yet they act as if it's a prized movie, sure it's a classic, but my gosh, most people who are into that genre of movie have bought the DVD decades ago, but now, not just with that movie, but other older movies, if PC doesn't have DVD player anymore, kind of forced to stream it and or play on old fashion DVD player, but these streaming companies realize older people into DVD players and TV sets are dying off, so they're mainly focused on todays streaming audience.
It's always about money.

Madhouse
Watched this so many years ago, forget which platform, either HBO or maybe DVD, I forget, but do know it's a very under rated classic horror movie that never gets mentioned in top anything lists.
If can watch or buy, it's worth it, movie has many interesting twists to it.

Shrooms - 2007
This one seems good, I thought it was new, shows how behind the curb I am on good horror films, how could I have missed this one?
Let's see, what was I doing back in 2007?
I think I was at some academy back then, in school or something, boy have times changed.

Infinity Chamber
This one's airing on Amazon.
And it kind of follows the premise of Groundhog Day, only in a more darker, sci-fi type of manner.
The movie kind of reminds me of my own life in many ways, in that how much is life just us really thinking about things, being comforted by our own thoughts, visions.
I guess that depends on how full or empty one's life is, but eventually most people's lives become more empty as they age. The older you get, unless filthy rich of course, the less people you know, the less people know you, the fewer people you matter to.
This current system of existence is a scary for many, capitalism, greed, doesn't stop just cause you stop earning a income.
Then again, not sure what happens to you say like in North Korea when you become old and useless, I wonder if over there they just kill you as soon as your no longer useful to society, I mean not sure if they have retirement homes in communist nations or dictatorship nations.
The older I get, more hollow that 'God will look after you' sentiment most of us were told when younger, begins to fade. When I think of 'looking after', I think of prosperity, not just barely getting by. Seems if you don't look after self, no one or nothing will look after you.
It all seems like a ugly trick after a while.
You have a short window of time and health in which to prosper, if you fail to prosper within that time, you're at the mercy of fate, I suppose.
I'm not in the most optimistic mood right now, just sitting on edge of bed, in the dark, typing out words that reflect my 'now' mood.
Moods come and go. Anyways, the above movie, it will make you think long and hard about everything.

Shadow Puppet
This ones pretty good, as in decent acting, and scary environment.
Started off feeling a bit 'oh I've seen this before' type of feel, but that goes away after the first scene, then movie begins taking you, the viewer, into places that are unique.
Not a bad movie, about half way done with it.
When I do finally find a good movie I like to stretch it out over days, cause they're so hard to fine, so when do find movie worth watching I hardly ever watch it all in one viewing, I stretch it out over days like a series.

Carriers - 2009
Wow, this one is good, it really is, and can't believe it came out way back in 2009.
Starts off like most horror movies, you know, the bratty college guys and gals all heading off somewhere for weekend fun.
Well this starts off like that, but they're not heading to no cabin for fun, as you soon find out.
The acting is good, solid and believable...that's what really does it is the acting.
You can tell these were top notch actors. Good actors perform in a way that you don't know they're acting.
And the story line is believable as well, dealing with virus infection, a decade before corona virus hit.
Amazing how that works, how movies have long been predicting such a scenerio.
Bottom line movie is good, heartbreaking at times, and takes you places emotionally most horror movies do not, especially most of the junk that's released today on YT or Amazon.
You'll enjoy this movie if want emotional rollercoaster ride.
