Amazing how things change.

Where I stay now, use to be known as 'the hood', like a place no 'white person' would dare even come, even if they knew you and you invited them over for dinner ect.

Fast forward however many years, and now whites are on a waiting list to get into this place, wow, and I'm already here, have been here for a while, many years, and just watched the place slowly change and evolve, for the better and worse.

If I tried to move in today, I doubt I could, cause rent has gone up 50% from when I first moved in, and everyone and their mamma's weren't flooding into Florida trying to escape blue state tyranny.

Yep, I'm sure I couldn't get in today if trying to, but I'm kind of grandfathered in since been here so long, and as long as pay rent, they could care the less what I make once I'm in, or once 'you're in'.

And I have a place where normally some rich snobby type would be staying, but when first came here, all of us more practical street types had the place up front by the water, it was like a water front ghetto...oh how times have changed.

And now I know these newer types move in, who don't know sh-t, and are probably like 'Well, why are they living there??'
Cause I work my butt off, that's why, and don't waste money on new cars and all.

Again, odd to watch the cycles of society change, as a place that everyone once feared, now everyone wants to move into, and now there's a waiting list....wow.

I ran a roommate ad a few days ago, I haven't even checked it yet, I was drunk when I ran the ad.

When drunk, I don't mind having a roommate, but when sober, the idea of sharing place with another is abhorrent to me.
I'm so used to having whole place to myself, to walk around naked, and or how I please.

I've noticed, whenever you have a roommate, or guest, you tend to confine yourself to your room more.
I think I'm just to old to enjoy a roommate anymore.
There's no more lust factor there, and if someone was indeed still attractive enough to arouse me, I doubt such a person would ever want to be my roommate.

Wherever urban B females live, they always bring these violent azz B males with them.
I'd rather live next to a working class adult B male, with a ob, than to live around single urban B females.

When urban B males get upset, they be speaking some slang talk that sounds like a different language.

And now for the most exploitive, demoralizing, humiliating task of the day, and that would be RENT.
Rent, to me, is a concept straight from the pits of hell.

Apartment life wouldn't be so bad if rent didn't keep going up.
I actually like it where I'm at now, have been here for around a decade, I like it.
It's quiet, clean, by the water, why would I want to leave?

But rent keeps going up?
And I'm not willing to work self to death, not at my age, just to pay higher rent.

Solution?
My Father left me and a sister of my some property, one has a livable house on it, maybe I should go live in it rent free.
But, that was never my plan, me and my dad weren't really that close, and the idea of living in a place where a deceased relative used to live just kind of creeps me out.
I just want to sell the freagen place, but my brain dead sister wants to keep it, they're a horder and can't even manage their own place, taxes, ect.

No ones lived in it for a while, and when did, they didn't take care of it, so no telling what I'd have to do to interior to be comfortable staying there.

Thing about me, I gotta be comfortable wherever I'm staying, rent free or not.
I can't be all scared, when lights go out at night, that bugs and rats will come scurring about.
I'm just not sure what I'm going to do.

I just don't have the optimistic fight in me that I used to, maybe cause I'm alone.
