Capitalism vs Socialism as one ages Capitalism (Which is not to be confused with Democracy), is different when young, healthy, fiscally productive and rich vs what it is when older, no longer healthy, and stuck in the blue collar world of employment where if you're not fit, they want you to get. (a little rhyme there). Let's explore this dynamic a bit, welcome to 50+, the odd years of life.

One thing for sure I notice is that those who are against raising the minimum wage, don't themselves have to 'Labor' for a living. They seem to think it perfectly fine for others to just labor just to labor without being able to get ahead. And this idea they have that minimum wage jobs are 'starter jobs', is BS, maybe in the 1960/1970's it was, but not in 2020/2021 and beyond. Sorry, but do to changing demographics, out sourcing of jobs, inflation, and other factors, many start career earning minimum wage and end career earning near minimum wage while nothing minimum wage about the CEO'S and others their, our, labor helped give a cushy life to with our hard labor. This idea that people should earn minimum wage just to satisfy some Conservative 'Think tanker', who's income comes through investments or other high salaried position, is absurd to me. To me, and the older you get, you begin to realize it really is 'every man for himself, or lady'. Cause as you age, it's just tough luck if didn't earn enough, save enough, have enough, to get by once you're no longer able to work or needed in the work place. And with Biden/Harris planning on opening the flood gates again to all sorts of immigration, than companies have even less incentive to raise anyone's pay with all the labor anticipated to flood in. Anyone who's against raising minimum wage probably hasn't picked up a shovel and had to labor for a check in decades. Try laboring a blue collar job when 50 and above, then tell me about how swell it is for people to labor for near nothing after bills. If paid low, no amount of hard work will pay off, your body will simply wear out before you get a good return on your labor.

I think when broke and old, I'd say most would prefer socialism, I mean how else you going to eat when old and no longer employable??

I think prisons would make great dormitories for old folks who just need places to crash.
I think prisons are nicely built structures wasted on scum bags, I mean state of the art structures, with security built in and all, I think the buildings could be better used to protect people from the outside rather than how they're used today.
I think prisons would make great fortresses for those wanting to be safe, like from Zombies and all, maybe like after everyone is vaccinated and 'turn'.

Ideas about Gov function changes as we age, or does it?
Seems the only people thrilled about the cut throat environment of vulture capitolism are
1. The very young who are just starting off and have optimistic youthful zeal
2. Those who are very wealthy, and others work for them, as in stock holders, security traders, CEO's, ect
3. Criminals, both street criminals and system criminals who work within the system, and sham the system do to their position in it.
But if just regular 9-5 aging type, the hustle gets old after a while as both your mind and body begin to tire.
Capitalism just won't leave you alone and let you sit still, Rent never stops rising, no matter how old you are.
Apartment units bought and sold, new group moves in, fixes it up, rent goes up, old tenants move out, new ones move in, then cycle repeats itself.
For instance, where I stay now apartments cost more than rental homes, say what?
Cause everyone from blue states keep flooding to red states driving prices up.
Not to mention whenever Amazon or other large firms move in, prices go up, pay doesn't, but prices do.
Like in Pittsburg, PA, tech companies moved in, working class driven out cause prices went up to high on rent, same thing occurring in Florida now as everyone and their mamma wants to move here.
Gotta run, time to slave away at work.

Where I stay, rent throughout the whole city just keeps going up and up and up!
It's totally sickening, it's like all the Realitors get together and all just raise the rent every where, yet peoples pay not going up.
And dam, one can only work so many hours during the day and week, especially as you age.
Is this the beauty of capitalism is to drive normal working class people to become homeless?

The future is looking more and more bleak in America if honest and poor
100,000 new south of the border immigrants this year?
There goes housing for many, as the Gov will probably give many of those immigrants housing vouchers, while native born citizens go homeless, and rent goes up, then inflation kicks in.
What's the solution?
A tent?

And me, I really don't want to dm roommate, I mean if not physically attracted to someone, than don't really want them living with me, that may sound mean, but it's true.

Winding down from work cycle, have next few days off
The scary thing about aging and being poor, especially if actually have to work for a living, as in labor type of work, as in skilled trade, or driving, as in CDL, or any job that requires you to be in good health.
The scary thing about earning a living like that is realizing soon will come the day when can no longer do it, if over the age of 50, do to eventual health related whatever.
Eyesight, arthritis, hearing, ect, sooner or later just won't be able to work, then what?
I mean not everyone saved, or has investments, or able to become the 'heir' of anything.
In fact, some have as little as they did when first started working right out of high school, maybe even less, for at least back then one had hope and a future and lots of sexual hormones that made life way more interesting, that made other people more interesting.
Sexual hormones like a gift or something, cause when young and full of sexual hormones, women seem way more attractive, and I suppose if gay, than guys would seem way more attractive ect.
But as you age, all that begins to fade.
That's fine if wealthy, but what if or when fiscally check to check?, then what?
And if a male and don't qualify for nothing?, then what?...the streets?, become homeless when can no longer work?
Or suicide?
What if have no family to tend to you if get injured ect?...then a good Attorney and sue?
I don't know.
I do know the future doesn't seem so friendly when alone.

I wonder if homeless people exist in openly socialist nations, and or what's done with the elderly?
