'Tech', for people over the age of 50 Tech for people over the age of 50, we just come from a different generation and trying to understand today's 'tech world' can be a bit frustrating and intimidating, so lets do this.

First off, know this, and that is I'm in your shoes when it comes to knowing little about tech Yes, I'm in your shoes, in that when I was in high school we were learning how to use a typewriter, OK.... OK, my classmates and I rolled like this, if wanted to impress, you pulled out the typewriter. I think by the time I graduated, floppy disks and stuff like that were still being sold..I can't remember, did not pay attention to any of it. Do know that 'beepers' were big back then, and rappers, anyone who wanted to 'impress' was seen in a video or photo with a beeber. Even in 'Ice Cubes' video, 'It was a good day', one line is like 'And my pager was blowing up all night', meaning a beeper. Obviously a lot has changed since then, but the main thing us old timers often forget about when on the web is 'security'. We're just stupid like that, and trusting. So if over the age of 50 I do suggest you get a VPN, that protects your identity while online from pesty whatever or whatever's. It kind of allows you to surf the web as the invisible man or woman.. I think older types need VPN's more so than younger types, cause older types tend to be nieve and blurt out their financial records or documents online to anyone who asks for them, thinking that that 'anyone' is safe. So check this company out if want to protect your identity while online... www.ipvanish.com/offer/?a_bid=48f95966&a_aid=ipvint&data1=bing&data2=ppc&chan=bing&msclkid=25383d5b7c381ce3b2ba5df76dea91de Do your own research, whether use a Norton VPN or other, but if don't have one, you seriously need to get one that you can activate or use when you feel like it.

Magix music maker 22
I just ordered this, I mean why not. I need a way of creating my own music for my videos, tired of worrying about copyright crap, so will just create my own simple background music.
Or maybe get even more creative and sing to the music, who knows, just know you can never stop being creative or will wither up, fade and die.

One thing I've noticed about 'views' or 'hits' on your site or comments, and that is seems you get less and less hits or views, as the internet becomes more monopolized by google, algorithms, ect.
It's like the powers that be just don't, or no longer, want individual getting their view points out. Instead, they want to totally control the source of information and opinion, and they, the powers that be, who control search engines, ect, only want there to be a few sources of information.
Like living in a dictatorship nation or something. They want to steer everyone towards their approved information websites, news sites, ect, where everything is politically slanted and bias.
And the, the tech powers that be, try their best now to make sites like this and others undiscoverable. As such, it makes me want to be online less and less, now that I know it's not fair and open, like it used to be years ago.
They, the powers that be, they want to chose the winners and losers. Like what they're doing to Trump, by silencing and trying to convict Trump, they're really trying to silence all those who support him and his policies. It's quite sinister when you think about it.
Not to get political here, but seems those on the left, whether online or in the world of politics, love to suppress viewpoints that don't agree with there's. I actually find that sickening.

The thing about the internet, is it's a place, if you don't go to that place, all the things that annoy you online, sick ads that follow you, annoying news headlines, comment sections, ect, if you don't go to that place, nothing in that place can annoy you.
I quit twitter months ago, therefore twitter can't annoy me anymore. And I quit going to many other places, or just signed out, therefore not annoyed by those places.
And now that I see how rigged it all is, my presense will drop more and more online, since it's all pretty much useless to me now.
And there's even a way you can opt out of online searches where they have all your info. Just go to the Kim Kommando website (or look it up yourself), and see how to opt out of having your private history on 3rd party sites.

Yep, I've wasted years just having meaningless back and forths with people I'll never meet. Social media, today, is nothing but a Ivy league class platform.
I mean isn't that something? Think about it, a decade or more back when it started, social media was actually created as an alternative for Hollywood and the snob class, it was where common people could communicate ideas with one another...but then the powers that be realized what they had unleashed. 'Oh no, we can't have common people chatting with each other and saying what they want, cause then they'll ignore our one size message fits all'.
So, they, the powers that be, changed all that, monetized it, corporations and celebs started joining social media and shoving the common user aside. Fast forward to today...if you're just a common 9-5 type now, on social media, whether YT ect, you won't even be heard, and your links, lol, or cry out loud, google or other search engines won't even bother allowing your website, ect, to be found.
So F it, if they don't need me, f it, I don't need them, let them choke on their own arrogance and snobiness.

Firefox browser vs Microsoft browser, night and day
Microsoft browser = endless ads gumming up your browser and computer speed.
Firefox browser = faster computer, cause computer not all gummed up with adware.
I had both browsers open, computer acting all sluggish. As soon as I closed the Microsoft browser and just used Firefox browser, speed instantly picked up.
Isn't that something? I mean think about there.
Bottom line, if you want less stuff, ads, google, gumming up your computer, than use the Firefox browser.
None of them give you complete privacy, but some are better than others at it.
