Serial killers vs Mass shooters

Not much to say here other than pointing out different 'methods'.

Just got done watching show about serial killers of the past, you know, the usual mentions, Ted Bundy, Jeffery Dahmer, John Casey Jr and so forth....then began comparing their crimes or method of crimes with todays mass shooters and came to this conclusion...and that is it seems todays mass killers don't have the patients to stalk out their victims over months or years or even decades, so instead todays mass killer just seems to prefer to amass high body count all in one event.

I mean a serial killer may kill 10 people over a 2 year period, where as a mass shooter may kill 10 people in less than 2 minutes, body count the same, but time frame totally different.

Or even throw in suicide bomber if you want, usually done out of religious convictions, but in the end the results are all the same.

And I really have no greater point to make right now other than noting the different methods that basically seek the same outcome from a disturbed mind.

Some criminals enjoy money, other criminals are demented and just enjoy inflicting pain upon others.
