The Island of Dr Moreau Vaguely remember this years ago as a muffin or youth, I think when like 'ShowTime' was still the thing, and had to have special 'box' to get it...either way think I'll try to watch right now, think it's a movie about a mad scientist who creates slave mutants on Island. Remember those old 'Show time' boxes??

Probably one of the goofiest horror or scary movies of all time
But for some reason in a mood to watch it anyways.
It's about cruel pac man type monsters that are gobbling up the world.

Oblivion - Starring Tom Cruise
A lot of the sci-fi movies from like 2000-2015 were like about 'conformity', and it seems that era, that so many younger people at the time feared, and displayed through sci-fi movies, has finally arrived.
I've always been a big fan of Tom Cruise, the only movies to me he didn't do well in was 'The Outsiders', and that other movie where he's dancing in his underwear.
But this one is pretty good and can see such forced conformity arriving in a town near you, us, soon.

1984
Probably one of the creepiest movies I've seen in a while, sure it's not 'modern', in the sense of special effects and all, but the concepts of this movie are creepy as hell to me, and many others, cause we're seeing it happen now.
I've heard people on both sides of political isle make reference to this movie/book, for decades, and it's kind of like the frog in slowly heating up pot of water, in that while the older generation always feared this reality, well, it's pretty much now upon us, and the implications are very scary, but will get more scary when compliance is 'mandatory' or else.
May God help us all, wow what a creepy movie.
