General comments about Entertainer's over the age of 50 Tom Cruise is 58 years old!, say what?? That kind of puts a whole new spin on life over the age of 50, doesn't it, at least to me it does. Let's begin this journey.

I think being 50 in 1950, meant you were ancient, not so anymore, now it depends on 'you' Sorry, but today's 50 and over crowd aren't going out like this anymore, who the F eats cottage cheese like this anymore, good googly moogly. No wonder folks croaked so early back then, eating pure pig lard and all...poor people back then. But at least they ate good.

A fun video with Arnold S commenting on his past hit movies
He's a cool dude, but like so many in Hollywood, his politics suck.
But politics aside, his movies were and still are fun to watch.

Randy Rhodes
While shifting through movies on Disney and Prime, not sure why of all movies, hundreds of movies, this documentary about Randy Rhodes stood out to me, and am watching right now.
I think because I grew up around a lot of rocker type people, some were friends, and at the time they all admired Randy Rhodes. Back then though, I really wasn't into rock or heavy metal, so he was just another 'one of those long haired rockers', as far as I was concerned.
It's not until years later, from hearing him always referenced by musicians, seeing him on the cover of rock magazines, ect, that I begin to realize there was more to them than just being a guitar player...duh
They started off, actually original guitarist for Quiet Riot, before moving onto Ozzy's band and the rest is history. And of course they died young, I forget how, and glad I forgot, and will let the movie tell me all that. I won't finish watching it all tonight.
That aside, I don't know, Randy Rhodes kind of takes me back to some younger years in my life, and although the guy was older than me and my peers, he was a legend to them at the time. And I can totally relate to all the long hair, cause I had rocker friends that lived that 80's rocker jean jacket, studded jackets lifestyle...it just brings back memories I suppose....and Randy Rhodes is apart of that history now.

One thing I'm learning, and maybe have learned a bit to late in life, but that is in order to be great, you have to be surrounded by great people, people who believe in you, spread you around, promote you, and so forth. But if surrounded by dud types, forget about it. It didn't come easy for these celebrities when you hear their back stories, but one thing they or most of them had in common, is they were surrounded by great people, as in people with the same vision, people who believed in them. If your life is void of people like that, I don't care how much talent you have, you're really not going to go anywhere. Breaking down entertainment doors is so much about word of mouth, and those around you elevating you.

It amazes me that Ozzy Ozbourne is even still alive, I mean with all the drugs and boozing he did for most of his life. He has one hell of a tough body, that's for sure, considering people now days are dropping off like flies for doing similar to what he did his whole life.

I always wondered how they died, and then when learned through this film that they died at the hands of some rich snob spoiled pilot who took him up for a flight and was trying to 'buzz' the tour bus himself and Ozzy's crew was staying in, I thought to myself 'what a self bastard' for doing that. The planes landing gear ended up clipping the tour bus and the plane crashed into the mansion....I mean how selfish of that snobby estate owner to play with Randy Rhodes life like that...and rob the world of, from what I can see, was a pretty decent individual

It's amazing to realize most of the people in this video, the men, are around or over the age of 50 now, the Gen X generation...wow
DMX himself, of course, is not here today, but if he were I do believe he'd be 52 or so, maybe 53.
Time catches us all, sooner or later.

P-Diddy jailed on multiple charges, sex trafficking, larceny and other stuff.
I guess he thought he was in Saudi Arabia.

Can you believe that Slim Shady is now over the age of 50! He's 52...wow!
Wow, Slim Shady is 52...time has mercy on no one.
Also though, I don't like his politics, he's gone Howard Stern, flipped, that means he's owned by the Hollywood deep and powerful elites.
