The Carrier
Kind of hate to start of reviews with this slow-moving infectious disease type of sci-fi movie.
It feels more like a 1990's made for TV Stephen King movie, in that the acting is kind of stale.
In this movie, the infected don't really turn into crazed people, rather they look more like they got leprosy or something, and so the scare point is that you don't want to catch it.
I don't know, ust not a very good movie to me, could of been written or directed in a way that could of improved it.
From 1-5, I give it a 2.4, in that the movie feels more like you're reading a book.

Diary of the Dead - 2007
This movie came out in 2007, so maybe back then, in fairness, maybe it seemed more 'fresh'...but since then, nah. Since then, the whole documentary narrative has kind of burned itself out.
In fairness, if had seen this movie 17 years ago, my review would probably be different, but since I didn't, well. By today's standards, it just seems like yet another slow moving college student horror movie, where seems everyone's trying to win an academy award with their acting, instead of realizing people tune in to zombie movies cause the zombies are the stars, not the humans. just not impressed anymore with whiney college students acting like they have it so bad, even in the backdrop of horror.

3 hours till Dead
This is one odd independent feeling zombie movie.
Starts off kind of dorky, kind of feeling like some bad Benny Hill dark horror, but then it does get a bit gruesome, which I guess make up for the bad acting, timing, emotional timing.
But there are times where to me, the women characters act to stereotypical old movie style, where at least one, ust has an emotional breakdown and pouts the whole time.
I think women would be stronger than that in real life.
That aside, if you can tolerate the bad acting at times, this movie delivers...and one of the first to combine both the slow moving and fast running zombies in the same movie.

Among the living
I don't know, this one is more like the Walton's meet some zombies.
I found myself fast forwarding about 25% of the movie, yet I stayed with it till the end, which is soft. Not your typically paced zombie movie, that's for sure, but there's enough interest in the characters that keep you watching.
Again, It's more like the Walton family meets zombies, or even Rod Zombie. ust a different paced British or Irish film, and I suppose their accents kept me tuned in as well.

Steve Niles - Remains
Watching this one now on Amazon/Freebee or Freevee? (Where can watch movie for free but with commercials)
Only about 20% into the movie, it's OK....it's a zombie movie...but so far, it's OK.
Not the best zombie movie, not the worst, and the fact that I'm still watching it says a lot.
It just kind of teeters on the edge of having that 'B' movie effect to it, but so far, anyways, it's managing to stay above that 'B' movie threshold.
But you might feel differently. I mean there's only so many ways directors can still get creative with zombie movies. This one takes place in Vegas.

The girl with all the gifts
I must say, of all the zombie type movies I've seen, ever, for sure, this one probably has the most interesting twist to it ever. I'm only about 23% into the movie, but my gosh. If you want a thinking person type of zombie or infected movie, than check this one out. I'm currently watching it on Amazon Prime. So far I'm impressed, only cause it's a zombie/infected movie with some good creative writing to it.

This is no doubt, the best zombie/infected type movie I've seen since 'Last man on Earth', and or 28 days later. It's a zombie/infected movie with an actual storyline behind it. I guess it came out as a book first, some years ago.

Dead Zone (Action horror)
Not bad, it works, for some reason, probably do to decent casting and no woke bs.
