1. White soldiers, Marines, ect, were not fighting for the freedom of 'negros', in 1943, they were fighting for and to
a. To stay alive
b. For their families
c. For their nation.
Black soldiers, Marines, ect, in WWII, were fighting in the war to and for
1. Self, and to stay alive
2. The guy next to them ect
3. Their families
4. Fighting to prove to themselves, and America, that they were men.
Sadly, when the black soldiers returned to the States after the war, they were still treated worse than captured Germans were.
This is documented in many biographies.
