Everyone has a closet monster in their life, or several, even the most physically toughest person in the world has a closet monster that taunts them, and is probably what drives them to want to be so tough.
People are, or act tough why? Fear, that's why...and everyone in life is driven by fear to one extent or another, regardless of gender, ethnicity, color, region, nationality, language, orientation whatever, everyone is driven by fear of something, to one extent or another.
The the closet monster, like Satan or the boogie man ect, is simply that jaunting or taunting, or mocking fear that's within everyone.
