Cadillac Records on 'Bounce'
Cadillac records, wow, it's one of those movies that just pulled me in, not sure if originally a made for TV or cable type of movie or if a theater movie when released way back in like 2008?
But the movie has a good cast, including Scott Bao, or Chachi, from Happy Days, who plays the main Music executive.
It's about the early days of music studios when America was ultra racist still, and segregated, and the movie tells the story of one particular label in Chicago which helped launch the careers of Muddy Waters, Chuck Berry, Little Walker and more, and it's all based on a true story.
It's a really good movie, and doesn't feel aged at all, not one bit, the acting is strong and convincing.
This movie is definitely worth a watch wherever you can see it. I watched it on 'Bounce', free, on antenna supplied signal.
The movie almost feels like 'Straight Outta Compton', only imagine those guys rising up back in the 50's and 60's, and how much tougher they really would of had to of been.

I could only take about 3 minutes of the TV today, then unplugged it promptly.

TV use to be such a filler for me, meaning get home, turn on the tube, and just hearing shows in the background was like having company. I don't do that anymore, mainly cause the commercials really annoy me, the adds, they all seem so condescending, it just turns me off.
So, I get home and just sit, and type, and sit, and type, and think until finally something creative emerges.

Maybe I'll sign into the Disney channel, sometimes theater is what is needed to help transition from the dull world of work, into my off time.

I think it's time for some TV channel surfing. I just got in, and I'm off for the next few days, and nothing like TV, or channel surfing, to just kind of relax the mind, and seperate me from the earlier work day. Kind of a decompression exercise I suppose.

The Corner (Old HBO series)
If can't view here, I suggest going to You Tube and watching it. It's a real gritty late 90's, early 2000s look at the hard drug infested streets of Baltimore, and the lives that were destroyed and rotted do to it.

More and more I'm missing good ole fashioned regular antenna TV, where there's only a few options to watch, thus saving you hours of mindless channel surfing. I had one for years, then tried hooking it to the computer and it broke. I think the internet sent it a self destroy signal since it wasn't a smart TV. I may go to pawn shop, or order me a good old fashion non internet TV, I'm perfectly fine only getting local channels.
